MITTEN IM PELOTON

An interactive WebGL experience for Pedal Party Passau. Reactive 3D sculptures, glass materials, spatial sound and a choreographed touch and cursor sequence merge into a digital peloton.

Creative Development / WebGL / Sound Design

Open experience
WebGL peloton of floating metallic leg shapes with the title Mitten im Peloton
01 / 04The field

Sixteen shapes form the field. A glass sculpture becomes an instrument. Every impulse changes material, space and sound until the object breaks into fragments and opens the way into the peloton.

01 · Brief

Pedal Party Passau's 16 leg shapes needed to become a digital experience, not another static campaign page.

02 · Approach

A charged field of extruded leg shapes leads into a directly manipulated glass sculpture. Motion, pressure, sound and light follow the same seven-step cadence.

03 · Outcome

A standalone creative-development piece that preserves the same choreography on mobile, foldables, iOS Safari and desktop without faking the experience with heavy video or pre-rendered 3D.

Technology

Three.js · GSAP · Web Audio · WebGPU HDR · Next.js
